One of My Favorite Couples Lately

I still remember when Kristy Bromberg entered the romance scene. I mean, which tried and true romance lover has not read DRIVEN? But I had not read any of Kristy's books for a hot minute, and then FLIRTING WITH 40 came around, and I was hooked. So when the opportunity to read HARD TO HOLD (Play Hard Book 2) came around, it was a no-brainer. I mean, disgraced British footballer, an agent with something to prove, how was this not going to be great?
And it so was. Rush and Lennox are white hot passion, the kind that jumps off the page, that makes other people in the room realize that they need a fan or a cold drink. But more than that, these two are perfect for each other in the more important ways. They really get each other. They're able to look beyond the beautiful surface and reputations, and see what needs to be seen. To peel away the facade and get down to what's true.
I absolutely loved this book, and not only can I not wait for HARD TO SCORE, the next book in the series, I am holding space to go back and read HARD TO HANDLE, Hunter's and Dekker's book. The thing that I am most excited about, though, is rediscovering Kristy's talent. I've been missing out, but I'm back. And so should you be. Grab these books and enjoy. ❤️
Not just another sports romance but THE sports romance to read of 2020

Bromberg has a way of writing characters that leave a little bit of themselves with you. Who knew that fictional characters could invade your heart and almost become living breathing people. Like friends you’ve kind of lost touch with but think of them fondly and often wonder what they’re up to, how they’re doing. Lennox and Rush are those friends. This story was able to help me escape and get lost in their world. The writing is top notch, the characters are complex and well written. The angst is palpable. I love strong characters who have a bit of internal struggle. I know I will be listening to the audio as well!!
More love & tears!

Hard to Hold was Ah-Mazing! Ugh. I loved it. Lennox is a sports agent that works for her family’s business. After overhearing someone talking about her at a conference she makes a rash decision to take off on her own and take a job in Los Angeles. While in L.A. she stays with her college roommate, Johnny. She quickly finds out that Johnny also has another house guest, British football player, Rush Mackenzie. Rush is in Los Angels laying low after being involved in a terrible scandal that could possibly cost him his job. The two of them are definitely attracted to one another, but Lennox has a point to make and she can’t be getting involved with an athlete.
Rush was an amazing character. I loved him! Reading from his point of view showed me where he came from and how he became the man he is today. Lennox was a head strong woman that I adored. I totally understood why she made the decisions she did. I haven’t read the first book in the Play Hard series, but I plan to as soon as possible after meeting Lennox and her sisters in this book.
Love this new series!

Rush Mackenzie is the European Premier league hockey star in a bit of trouble with his teammate. He is lured to California to escape by promoting soccer/football in the United States. Sports agent, Lennox Kincade runs away from her family business feeling like she must make her own way in the world. They are attracted to one another from the moment they meet. I loved that their chemistry
was talking and getting to know one another’s secrets. I laughed out loud at their banter and swooned at their chemistry. I love this new series by Kristy Bromberg!
Lennox and Rush are perfect together!

I am truly loving these Kincade sisters! Lennox and Rush are so perfect together! Two people who both end up in LA for very different reasons, but find themselves gravitating to each other and finding a kindred spirit between them.
What I love about Kristy's writing is that she beautifully balances what her characters are going through in the story, both physically and emotionally. Rush has been dealt some pretty crappy cards as of late, embroiled in a scandal he's not allowed to talk about. Kristy lays out for the reader what is going on with that, but also Rush's backstory and how he got to where he is. She delves into his emotions and feelings, which is often hard to do for a male character without them coming across as too soft, but I was completely obsessed with Rush and all the parts of him we get to see.
Lennox has suffered some dings to her reputation as well, a lot of it coming from her male counterparts in sports management. She heads to LA in a last minute decision to take a contract her family told her not to. After she's signed on the dotted line, she realizes what she's gotten herself in to, but could this be the thing that helps her get her reputation, and her mindset, back on track?
Lennox and Rush together are smoking hot! All that absolutely horrible sex they were having was making me have hot flashes!! But for the first time ever, they've found in each other something they've never experienced before. They find the missing pieces of themselves, their compass. As much as I loved Dekker and Hunter's story, Lennox and Rush's story just really hit me straight in the feels. They've both suffered losses that have changed them irrevocably and now they have a chance to experience true love for the first time, if they aren't too scared to try.
I loved getting to see all the Kincade sisters again and of course the Patriarch of the family who always seems to know everything that's going on and gives the best advice. I'd love to punch one particularly douchey agent right in his junk!! I'm holding out hope he gets his come-uppance before this series is over. I can't wait to read the next two sister's stories!
Fantastic!!!

This is the second book in the Play Hard series. This is Lennox Kincade’s story. She’s trying to settle herself down when she overhears her fellow agents at a conference saying horrible things about how she scores her clients. She’s having self doubt about her abilities no thanks to her family, either. So she decides an escape to her long time friend Johnny in California will help. But she has the shock of her life once she gets there, Rush McKenzie, the Liverpool soccer star.
Rush is running away, too. He is submerged in a heck of a scandal back in England involving his teammate and his teammate’s wife. So instead of battling the rumors head on, his agent had him leave England until things settle down. Now he’s here in California, but he’s not alone.
Rush and Lennox’s story is a slow burn fire ready to ignite. And once it does, wow! They discover things in each other they never knew they needed. Their story is about hope and trust and taking chances. It’s another perfect romance written by an amazing author. Can’t wait to read the rest of the Kincade sister’s romances.
Fantastic!!!!

British? Tattooed? Sexy?? Gah!! Sign me up!! I freaking loved Rush! Loved him!! Plus he has the best heart.
This story was fantastic!! Rush and Lennox were hot! They had such chemistry and were on fire. Yet there were tender moments too.
Kristy really nailed the writing in this one. It’s on point. Not overly wordy. Not overly descriptive. Just perfection. Told in my fav- dual point of view- I just ate this one right up.
I’m sucker for a British character and Kristy did a great job with Rush. Can he be real please?

Loved Lennox and Rush! They were perfect together! It was a lighthearted, enjoyable read. The witty banter and the hot sex scenes were everything! I was smiling and swooning so often. The only thing that prevents me from giving it 5 stars is I wanted a bit more angst and more from the epilogue. I am really loving this series and I can’t wait for the last two books!
